When you use iKarTehBot, the following information is collected:

• User and guild IDs, usernames when you use commands
• List of guild members
• Game statistics and reminders (stored temporarily)
• Message content when using game commands
• Server configuration and settings
• User presence information when using specific commands
• Basic usage statistics

How Your Data is Used

The collected data is used to:

• Provide bot functionality and maintain game/reminder progress
• Prevent abuse and ensure performance
• Measure how the bot is used for improvements
• Detect any errors or issues with the bot's functionality

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Request data deletion using the contact command
• Clear game statistics using reset commands in servers

Data Security

• Data is stored securely in the comfort of my own home, believe it or not...
• No selling or trading of personal data
• Necessary data is automatically handled by Discord as required for operation according to their Privacy Policy and Terms.

Data Retention

Discord bot logs are retained for a period of 10 days or less of their creation or until deletion is requested.

Game stats are stored indefinitely by default, and reminders are stored until they are completed or manually deleted.

Guild-specific configuration is automatically deleted when you remove the bot from your server.

Third-Party Services

• The /dadjoke command uses the icanhazdadjoke API to fetch jokes. This bot abides by their terms and does not share any personal data with the maintainers.
• The /uselessfact command uses the uselessfacts API to fetch random facts. This bot does not share any personal data with the maintainers.
• The /trivia game command uses the Open Trivia DB API to fetch trivia questions and answers. This bot does not share any personal data with the maintainers.
• The /lyrics command uses the LRCLIB API to fetch song lyrics. This bot does not share any personal data with the maintainers.
• The /wiki command uses the Wikimedia REST API to fetch Wikipedia summaries. This bot does not share any personal data with the maintainers.
• The /xkcd command uses the XKCD JSON API to fetch comics. This bot does not share any personal data with the maintainer.

Keep note that this Policy and the information herein may be updated periodically. Continued use of iKarTehBot after changes indicates your acknowledgement of the updated terms.
